Norfolk County Council proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (the
“Order”) (NTRO10562) affecting the U19003 Ostend Road from its junction with
1P657/10 Ostend Gap for 160 metres southwards (“Road A”) and U19003 Ostend
Road from 70 metres north of its junction with Happisburgh Footpath 6 for 190 metres
westwards (“Road B”) in the Parish of Walcott to facilitate highway improvement
works, the Roads A and B will be temporarily closed/restricted (except for pedestrian
access) for the duration of the works/period the closure is necessary which is
anticipated to be from 5
th January to 20th February 2026, but may continue to be
closed/restricted until the 20th August 2026 where the closure/restriction is still required
beyond the anticipated dates.

Walcott Parish Council wishes to convey our deepest sympathy to all those affected by the tragic incident in the village. Our thoughts are with the families, friends, and community at this profoundly difficult time.
